Bhorol Teerth




Bhorol Teerth, the 13th century temple, is located at Bhorol village, 60 km from Deesa railway station. It is dedicated to Neminatha Bhagwan and belongs to the period of King Samprati. There are a number of idols and relics. According to references, the temple here is superb with 1444 pillars and 72 devkulikas (smaller temples), and also a large step well. This step-well is present here in its old shape. A fair is conducted at the temple on the fifteenth day of the months of Kartak and Magasar. There is a small Dharamshala and bhojanashalas for accommodation and food. Tharad is the village nearby.
