Verlem




Verlem is in the southern part of South Goa District, near the district’s border with the state of Karnataka. It lies in Sanguem taluk and is roughly 8 km south of Sigonem.

Around 5 km away lies Netravali, a tourist spot famed for the Netravali Lake and Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary. Cotigao, a picturesque hamlet on the foot of the Western Ghats, is around 8 km south. Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary is worth a visit.

Sanvordem Curchorem Railway Station and Goa Airport are the main access points. Another nearest railhead is Canacona Railway Station.
