Darbandora is on the National Highway 4A, in the upper region of South Goa District. It is near the North Goa-South Goa border and is around 6 km from Tatoli and 10 km west of Sancordem.

In the neighborhood are Selaulim Dam and Jama Masjid.

The nearest airport is Goa Airport. Kalem Railway Station and Sanvordem Curchorem Railway Station are the nearest railheads. The place can be approached from Sanvordem and Mollem by road.
