Pernem




Pernem is a village in Goa. This place which is famous for its Hindu temples is located 27 km north of Panaji, the capital of the State. Pernem lies sandwiched between the Chapora and Arondem Rivers. Shri Bhagwati temple, Tiracol fort, Alorna fort, and Arambol beach are the main attractions. The villagers celebrate the festival of Dussehra every year in October. The village is well served by a network of roads.
