Pissurlem




About 1 km from Onda, Pissurlem is a mining locale lying in the western part of Sattari, in North Goa District. It is one of the prominent industrial areas in the district and is around 3 km north of Vagurem and 10 km west of Valpoi, the taluk headquarters.

An ancient cave in Pissurlem is the main attraction. The nearby points of interest are Pandava Caves and Madei Wildlife Sanctuary.

The place can be approached via Colem Railway Station and Goa Airport. The Bicholim-Vagurem-Valpoi road passes close by.
