Nachinola is an ideal venue for birding enthusiasts. It is home to a variety of birds such as yellow-wattled lapwing, steppe eagle, lesser adjutant and cinnamon bittern. The area is mixed wetland and is surrounded by paddy fields. A nearby attraction is Mayem Lake, an ideal picnic spot.
