Kushawati River

Kushawati River originates from Nundem in Sanguem taluk of South Goa District. It then flows through villages such as Cazur, Zambaulim and Danollem, before entering the Quepem taluk. It finally merges with the Zuari River at Xelvon village.

The famous Shri Damodar Temple at Zambaulim is situated on the banks of this river. The river is considered to have great healing powers and devotees take bath at Zambaulim to get rid of bodily ills.
