Vellavada

Lying in Quepem taluk, Vellavada is around 4 km from Khadde, in South Goa District of Goa. Naina is roughly 4 km east.

Pirla, a village with archeological importance, is at a short distance. ShantaDurga Temple, dedicated to Shri Shantadurga (Shakti), the goddess of peace, is the nearest prominent shrine. Rivona Caves, Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary and Agonda Beach can be visited while in Vellavada.

The place is accessible from Balli Railway Station and Goa Airport. Vellavada is linked to Quepem and Sanguem by road.
