Jaqui




Jaqui, also called Jagvi, lies in South Goa District, and is around 3 km south of Vichondrem. It is in the south-western border of Sanguem taluk, near Quepem and Canacona taluks. Nundem is 3 km south and Gaundongrem is nearly 10 km west.

In the neighborhood lie prominent tourist locales such as Netravali Lake and Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary. The Mamai Devi Temple is a nearby holy spot.

Canacona Railway Station and Sanvordem Curchorem Railway Station are the nearest railway stations. Goa Airport serves Jaqui. By road the place is connected with the National Highway 17. Jaqui is accessible form Sanguem, Quepem, Chaudi and Margao.
