Tilamola




Situated at an altitude of about 68 ft above sea level, Tilamola is a town in South Goa District. It is about 85 km from Belgaum and 121 km from Hubli.

Tilamola is famous for a Roman Church. Shri Chandranath Temple, Quepem Dam and the sacred grove of Morpila are other nearby points of attraction for the tourists.

Tilamola is bounded in the west by Quepem (2 km), in the north by Curchorem (4 km), in the east by Comprol (6 km) and in the south by Sirvoi (2 km). The place offers good accommodation facilities for the visitors in hotels at the most reasonable rates.

Tilamola can be approached by road from Panaji. The nearest railhead is Madgaon Railway Station served by the Konkan Railways.
