Pigeon Island

Pigeon Island, located south of Bogmalo, is a rocky outcrop with abundant marine life and provides excellent visibility up to 30 m. With its unspoilt dive sites between 6 and 30 m deep, the island is renowned as the underwater photographer’s paradise. A variety of turtles, sharks, rays, tuna and large barracuda are commonly found around the island. The Malvan Shoal, comprises some interesting shallow dive sites between Vengurla and Malvan, is just a 2 hours journey from Panaji.

Goa Airport is just 4 km from Bogmalo while Vasco Da Gama Railway Station is 8 km to the northwest.
