Siri Fort




Siri, the third fortress city of Delhi was built by Alauddin Khilji in 1303. Alauddin Khilji 's large tank called Hauz-i-Alai in Hauz Khas, which provided water to the natives of Siri Fort, was one of the major accomplishment of the citadel. Nothing remains of this fort apart from a few ruins and a portion of the ramparts. Siri Fort Auditorium and Siri Fort Sports Complex are nearby. The ramparts of the Siri Fort can be seen on Khel Gaon Marg and Aurobindo Marg.
