Hashtsal Minar

Hashtsal Minar is located at a small village named ' Hashtsal,' on Delhi- Najafgarh Road. This is a 56 ft high, three-storied, brick-built minar. Hashtsal Minar was part of a hunting lodge built by Shah Jahan and was probably used as a shooting tower. A narrow staircase leads to its top. The minar rises from a two-tiered platform of which the lower one is square and the upper one is octagonal.

The remains of Hathi-Khana (elephant house) --a double-storied pavilion, is located about 100 m north-west of Hashtsal Minar.
