Gole Market

Gole Market is a largely middle class settlement in New Delhi. Majority of the residents here are central government employees. Gole Market is at a walkable distance from Connaught Place.

The place derives its name after Gole Market, the city’s first meat market - a circular two-storeyed building. Now it has become a barbecue cluster with an array of restaurants serving Chinese, Mughlai, Avadhi, Continental, Mexican and oriental cuisines. For food lovers, no other place serves them better than Gole Market.

India Gate, Karol Bagh, Pandara Park, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Red Fort are quite nearby.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is around 22 km south-west. New Delhi Railway Station is just 2 km north-east.
