Established in 1948, Calico Museum of Textiles is one of the leading museums in Ahmedabad
. It is housed in two levels, of which one floor exclusively features the textiles of religious significance and the other displays traditional court fabrics, tents, carpets and costumes.

yantras, painted wooden ceiling of derasarai and important manuscripts such as kalpasutra and kalakakatha.
