Barakhamba Road

Barakhamba Road, one of the busiest roads in Delhi, connects Mandi House roundabout near Sahitya Akademi and Doordarshan Kendra to Connaught Place. The road is dotted with several commercial buildings such as Vijaya Building, New Delhi House, and Statesman Building. National Museum of Natural History, Modern School, and Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran are some of the prominent landmarks on this road. Currently, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is in the process of connecting Barakhamba Road to Dwarka, Asia's largest residential colony in South West Delhi District.
