Azadpur




Azadpur is a thickly populated residential area in North West Delhi District, about 11 km north-west of the shopping hub of Connaught Place. Pitampura is west and Wazirpur is towards the south.

India’s largest wholesale market for vegetable and fruits - called the Azad Market - is the major land mark of Azadpur.

Karol Bagh, India Gate, Ashoka Pillar, Red Fort, Mutiny Memorial and Shalimar Bagh are some places of tourist interest within 15 km.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is about 30 km south. Delhi Azadpur Railway Station is on the Delhi – Panipat rail line of Northern Railways. Azadpur Bus Terminal has regular bus services to all parts of New Delhi. The Interstate Bus Terminal (ISBT) at Kashmiri Gate is 8 km south-east.
