Khallarimatha Temple




Khallarimatha temple is situated on the hilltop forest of Khallari, about 25 km south of Mahasamund, in Chhattisgarh. The temple is dedicated to Khallarimatha. Thousands of people visit the temple every year during Navratri. The annual fair on the full moon day of Chaitra (April) draws large number of people.

It is believed that Pandavas had visited this hilltop. A footprint believed to be that of Bhim can be sighted here.
