National Highway 16



National Highway 16 links Nizamabad in Andhra Pradesh with Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh. This 460 km long stretch spans across Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. National Highway 16 originates at Nizamabad and runs eastwards through Metpalli, Lakshettipet and Mancheral and then past Chinnur to enter Maharashtra. It travels a total distance of 220 km in Andhra Pradesh.

The highway traverses just 80 km through the eastern tip of Maharashtra, before entering Chhattisgarh near Bhopalpatnam. Sironcha is a major tourist spot lying along the National Highway 16 in the state.

In Chhattisgarh, National Highway 16 runs through Bijapur, Bhairamgarh, Gidam and Suklapara before terminating at Jagdalpur. It traverses a total distance of 210 km in Chhattisgarh. On the way, the National Highway 16 meets National Highway 7 near Armr and National Highway 202 at Bhopalpatnam.
