Bansuri

Bansuri, the Indian bamboo flute, is a transverse flute made of a single piece of bamboo. It has nothing else than seven holes. In this instrument, microtones and accidentals are produced by a unique fingering technique.

This musical instrument is already mentioned in the Vedas, the oldest known scripts of humanity. Bansuri is associated with Krishna, the god of dance and music.
