Bhabhua is the administrative headquarters of
Kaimur District, in
Bihar. It is a major center for agricultural trade in the district. Bhabhua is located 160 km to the south-west of
Patna.
Places of tourist interest include the Kaimur Hills and the Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary. Rock paintings discovered from the nearby blocks are also worth a look.
Nearest airport is at Patna.
Bhabhua Road Railway Station is on the
Sasaram-Mughal Sarai line. By road, Bhabhua is linked with Rohtas,
Buxar, Patna and Aurangabad.
