Goenka Shivalaya




Goenka Shivalaya is one of the oldest and acknowledged places for Hindu pilgrims in Munger District of Bihar. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Goenka Shivalaya is built in the midst of a big water tank and is linked with a rock solid bridge road of white marble. The water tank is enriched with big and beautiful fishes. Major attraction of the temple is the beautiful garden with a variety of flowers and trees. The temple remains crowded with visitors on festive days specially associated with Lord Shiva.

Closest railway station is Bhagalpur Junction Railway Station and the nearest airport is at Patna.
