Dawath




Around 43 km north of Sasaram, Dawath is a small town in Rohtas District of Bihar. It is along the road linking Bikramganj with Dumraon. Dawath shares its border with Nawanagar in the north, Bikramganj in the south, Dinara in the west and Koath in the east. Places to visit are Rohtasgarh Fort, Tarachandi and Mundeshwari Stone Temple. Nearest airport is at Gaya, nearly 103 km south-east.

Sasaram Railway Station on the Mughal Sarai-Gaya rail route, is the nearest major railhead.
