Amrasani




Amrasani is located near Abhaipur, 20 km east of Lakhisarai, in Lakhisarai District of Bihar.

Set amidst green forest and mountains, Amrasani is undoubtedly a year-round tourist destination of the state. The main attraction of the town is a soft water spring, where pilgrims throng to take a holy dip on the 1st and 14th of January. The stream flows for a very short distance, before disappearing as if by magic.

Prominent pilgrim spots near Amrasani are Bhagwati Asthan and Abhainath Asthan.

Amrasani is renowned for slate rocks, which are found in abundance here.

Nearest airport is Patna Airport. Abhaipur Railway Station, on Lakhisarai- Munger route, is the nearest railway station.
