Nakachari




Nakachari is a town with tea estates, in Jorhat District of Assam. Nakachari Railway Station serves the town. It is bounded by Jetukiagaon (5 km) in the west, Bhalukmara (10 km) in the east and Mariani (9 km) in the south. Teok, famous for its tea production is situated 11 km to the north of Nakachari. It is also well linked with Neamati (14 km), from where one can easily access the world’s largest river island, Majuli.

Jorhat Civil Air Terminal is the nearest airport.
