Hajua




Hajua is a village in Barpeta District of Assam. It comes under the Koklabari Panchayat of Jalah Administrative Block. The village is renowned for its production of aromatic tea. The Hajua Tea Garden, meaning 'the shelter of swans,' is situated here.

Hajua is around 15 km to the north of Rihabari, 10 km to the east of Kumguri and 12 km to the north of Jagdala. Hudukhata is about 17 km away. Dibrugarh Airport and Barpeta Road Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead respectively.
