Borjhar




Borjhar is a suburb of Guwahati, located in Kamrup District, Assam. It is about 25 km west of Guwahati and is 124 km from Shillong. The distinction of this town is that it houses the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. It is the most important airport in the North-Eastern Sector with landing facility for bigger jet aircrafts and is connected to Kolkata, Delhi and Bagdogra by air.
