Gohain Kamal Ali is an old road, which once connected
Coochbehar with
North Lakhimpur. Parts of this road can still be seen on the border of Paschim Banbhag and Baska Mouza in
Nalbari District.
It was built by Gohai Kamal during the reign of the Koch King, Naranarayan. Built in 1568, the road is an engineering marvel of ancient times.
