Doyang River




One among the four rivulets of the Dhansiri, Doyang River is in Kohima District of Nagaland. Originating from the Japfu peak, the river traverses the western part of the district and finally joins the river Dhansiri in Assam. It is a sub tributary of the Brahmaputra. The Doyang Hydro Electric Power Project, in Wokha District of Nagaland, utilizes the discharge from the Doyang.
