Dhekiakhowa Bar Namghar




Dhekiakhowa Bar Namghar, a prayer-hall used by the Hindus, is situated near Majuli in Jorhat District of Assam.

It was built during 1497-1539 by the saint-reformer Madhavdeb. The hall has throne, which keeps the holy book for worshipping purpose. The room enshrines the idols of Lord Hanuman and Ananta.
