Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary




Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, occupying an area of about 370 sq km, is situated in Lower Subansiri District of Arunachal Pradesh.

Covered by sub-tropical evergreen forest, temperate broad-leaved and conifer forest, the sanctuary is a breeding ground for birds. It is also a breeding ground for rare long-billed wren-babbler. The forest also has a collection of endangered plants and rare orchids.

The sanctuary is 30 km from Ziro.
