Bhadrakali Temple




Bhadrakali Temple is situated on the top a hillock between Hanamkonda and Warangal. Bhadrakali Temple was built in 8th century during the Kakatiya period. The temple resembles the Chalukyan style of temple architecture. The presiding deity is Goddess Kali who is seen with weapons in each of her eight arms. The stone image of this deity is in human form, which is in sitting posture, wearing a crown.

Bhadrakali Temple is about 5 km from the Warangal Railway Station.
