Sri Yaganti Umamaheswara Swamy Temple

Sri Yaganti Umamaheswara Swamy Temple is located at Yaganti in Kurnool District. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in consistent with Vaishnavite tradition by Vijayanagar kings in the 15th century.

A Nandi facing the temple is believed to be growing in size eternally. The Agasthya Pushkarini inside the temple is of much significance as the water comes from the bottom of the hill in all seasons. Taking a holy dip in this pushkarini is considered highly auspicious. Mahashivratri is celebrated here annually.
