Sri Veerabhadra Temple




Sri Veerabhadra Temple lies in Pattiseema which is located 120 km from Eluru, 40 km from Rajahmundry and 25 km from Kovvur. Sri Veerabhadra Temple is located on a hill in the middle of the Godavari River in West Godavari District and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Sri Veerabhadra Temple is believed to be one of the Panchkasi Kshetrams of the Shaivites. A beautiful Nandi Vigraha is seen here. The temple walls are decorated by carved images of dancing people. The remarkable feature of the temple is the life-size sculpture of Goddess Bhadrakali, decked out with ornaments and a sword.
