Sri Tirupatamma Ammavari Temple




Sri Tirupatamma Ammavari Temple is located at Penuganchiprolu village in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. It is about 20 km east of Jaggayyapeta and 20 km north of Nandigama, on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada road.

The presiding deity is Sri Gopiah Swamy Tirupatamma Varu. The deity is worshipped here as the image of Shakti, the divine mother or Lord Shiva’s consort.

An annual fair, known as Tirupatamma Jatra, held here on the occasion of Magha Suddha Poornima (February-March) is a major draw. The celebrations last for five days.
