Sangam



Sangam is an ancient town in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. It is 30 km west of Nellore.

The prime attraction of the town is a Chola temple, which enshrines a 15 cm tall beautifully carved Nandi. Sangam, literally mean union, got its name from the confluence of the Bogguru, Beeraperu and Penneru rivers.

Nearest airport is Tirupati Airport and Nellore Railway Station is the closest railhead.
