Ramappa Temple lies in
Palampet, which is about 77 km from Warangal. Dating back to 1213, Ramappa Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a great contribution of the Kakatiya kings of Warangal and reflects the South Indian style of temple architecture.
Ramappa Temple exists on a 6 ft high star-shaped platform. The sanctum, which has a sikhara at its top, has a lingam. Besides, numerous sub-shrines are found within the temple.
