Srisailam




Situated on the banks of river Krishna, Srisailam is a hill town famous for temples, dam, and a wildlife sanctuary. It is 232 km south of Hyderabad. At Sikharam, the highest of the Srisailam hills, there is a temple called Sikhareswara Swamy dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Bhramaramba Mallikarjunaswamy Temple on the southern bank of Krishna river, 512 meter long Srisailam Dam, and the Srisailam Wildlife Sanctuary are the other places to be visited.
