Ahobila Narasimha Swamy Temple, situated on the Upper
Ahobilam, is the main temple and the earliest of all the nine temples.

Lord Narasimha was 'Svayambhu' (self-manifest) here.
On the way to the temple, there are virgin hills and forests with several waterfalls. Nearby the premises of the temple is a sacred stream known as Vavinasi, which joins the
Krishna River.
