Nagulapad

Nagulapad is located about 25 km south of Suryapet in Nalgonda District. The famous Musi River flows through nearby. Nagulapad is renowned for two temples and a small mosque. The temples of this village date back to the 13th century. The moldings of the main temple resemble those of the Ramappa Temple of Palampet. The inscriptions and sculptures of these temples reveal that Nagulapad had a prosperous history during the Kakatiya period. A large number of devotees throng here with great fervor. The nearest airport is at Hyderabad.
