Kazipet



Kazipet is 14 km from Warangal and 140 km from Hyderabad. Founded by Nizam Ali Khan (Nizam II), the town is famous for a shrine (Dargah), dedicated to a Sufi-saint, Hazrath Afzal Biabani. The dargah is popularly known as Kazipet Dargah. A festival called Jrusu is celebrated every year in honor of the saint. The festival falls during June and July and lasts for 8 days.

Kazipet railway station is on ChennaiNew Delhi Grand Trunk route.
