Alur



Alur village is located in Anantapur District and is 70 km from Anantapur town. Alur is flanked by abundant trees and high hills and is famous for a small waterfall. Alur is also the site of Ranganatha Swamy Temple, which celebrates the annual car festival on the full moon day in March.

The nearest railhead is at Anantapur on the Hyderabad-Bangalore broad gauge line.
