Anjaneya Swamy Temple




Anjaneya Swamy Temple is located at Kondagattu, about 35 km from Karimnagar, in Andhra Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, popularly known here as Anjaneya Swamy.

According to the local folklore the temple was built about 300 years ago by a cowherd. The present structure was built by Krishna Rao Deshmukh, about 160 years back.

Kondalaraya Fort and Bojjapotana Caves, situated nearby, are worth visiting.
