Chagalamarri is located in the southern part of Kurnool District. It is about 54 km north-west of Cuddapah and is 22 km south of Allagadda. Chagalamarri is also spelled Chagalmurri.
Kunderu River flows through the area. Belum Caves at Kolimigundla is a nearby tourist attraction.
