Gunupudi Someswara Temple

Gunupudi Someswara Temple is a famous shrine located at Bhimavaram in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. Bhimavaram is about 107 km south-east of Vijayawada.

This beautiful temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Shivling found here is believed to be a Swayambhu. It is about 5 ft in height. One of the pillars of the mandapams has some letters inscribed in Pali language.

Bhimavaram Junction Railway Station is one of the two stations that serve the temple. The other station is Bhimavaram Town Railway Station.
