Ashada




Ashada is the 4th month of the Hindu calendar. According to the Gregorian calendar, it falls between mid-June and mid-July. It is believed that, on the shukla ekadasi day of this month, Lord Vishnu starts his yoga-nidra. Guru Poornima or Vyasa Poornima is celebrated on the 15th day of Ashada.
