Ziarat Baba Naseeb-ud-din Gazi

Ziarat Baba Naseeb-ud-din Gazi is a holy place located at Bijbehara, 7 km from Anantnag town in Jammu and Kashmir. The mausoleum is built as a memorial of Naseeb-ud-din Gazi. Being a preacher of Islam, he constructed 1200 mosques, Musafir Khanas, bridges and planted trees on both sides of roads wherever he went to preach the precepts of Islam.

Baba Naseeb was buried at Bijbehara, where the current mausoleum stands. It was erected by Sheikh Fateh-ud-din Abdual Rehman. The reconstruction work was done by his son Baba Mohd Zahid in 1715. The main festival is the Milad when processions are held.

By road, Bijbehara is easily accessible from Anantnag. The nearest airport is at Srinagar.
