Zaiti Shah Nag

Zaiti Shah Nag is a historical spring, located in Muqam Shah Wali village, 3 km from Kupwara. The famous Zaiti Shah Shrine is situated on its bank.

Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs equally treat the spring and the shrine as very sacred. It is believed that the saint Zaiti Shah Wali put dry fish in the spring, which came to life and the fish present in the spring are their progeny. Srinagar Airport is the nearest airport.
