Zainakut

Zainakut is a town located near Sharifabad in Badgam District of Jammu and Kashmir. This ancient town was founded by Sultan Zain-ul-Abidin. It lies on the outskirts of Srinagar, about nine kilometers away. Chak Dewan Shah (in the west), Malur (in the north), Shalateng (in the east) and Khushipur (in the south) are the locales around Zainakut.
