Yogma Kharbu lies 4 km south of Talma in
Kargil District. Situated at a height of 11,325 ft above sea level, it is about 185 km from
Srinagar – the capital city of
Jammu and Kashmir. Shakar Brok is just two kilometers from Yogma Kharbu. Lumsu is to the west of Yogma Kharbu and Shakar is to the east.
Yogma Kharbu can be easily reached from Mulbekh as state buses connect Mulbekh with Srinagar . The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is on the Jammu – Pathankot line.
